Its certainly a good start if you arent used to drawing anime mate. if you seriously want to brush up on your drawing skills, check out http://www.dragoart.com, its like a How To Wiki where users submit guides on drawing all kinds of stuff, it has a metric fucktonne of different anime tutorials, from basic elements like eyes, noses and such to background objects, body shapes and beyond. give it a whirl, and dont expect miracles, nobody becomes an anime virtuoso overnight.

oh, and those tutorials, some of the ones by "Dawn" are bloody awesome
